Firuzabad (Persian: فيروزاباد)[a] is a village in Marhemetabad-e Miyani Rural District of Firuzabad District of Chaharborj County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district[4] and the rural district.[5]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,539 in 331 households, when it was in the former Marhemetabad District of Miandoab County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,741 people in 440 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,704 people in 508 households.[2]
In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Chaharborj County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Firuzabad District.[4]
