Hoplothrips is a genus of thrips in the family Phlaeothripidae,[1] first described in 1843 by Charles Jean-Baptiste Amyot & Jean Guillaume Audinet-Serville.[2][3] The type species is Thrips corticis DeGeer, 1773.[2][4]
