Career
[edit]Pešek made his professional debut for Sparta Prague in the Czech First League on 9 November 2014, coming on as a substitute in the 90th minute for Ladislav Krejčí in the away match against Slovácko, which finished as a 2–0 away win.[2][better source needed]
In January 2015, Pavelka went on loan to České Budějovice before being signed permanently in mid 2017.[3] He moved to Slovan Liberec at the start of the 2018–19 Czech First League,[citation needed] before returning to Sparta Prague until the end of 2020–21 season.[4]
On 7 September 2020, Pešek received his first call-up to the Czech Republic national team for 2020–21 UEFA Nations League B match against Scotland, in which he eventually debuted and scored the opening goal in the 12th minute, ending in a 2–1 loss for the Czechs.[5]
