Jamaldeen Ayomide Jimoh-Aloba[2] (born 2 October 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Aston Villa.

Club career

Jimoh-Aloba began his career at the academy of West Bromwich Albion. Despite being linked with a transfer to Chelsea,[3] on 26 August 2023, Jimoh-Aloba signed for Aston Villa.[4] The transfer was reported to be for a fee around £1 million.[5] On 10 October 2023, Jimoh-Aloba signed his first professional contract.[6]

On 24 September 2024, Jimoh-Aloba made his senior debut as a substitute in an EFL Cup win away to Wycombe Wanderers.[7] On 8 October 2024, Jimoh-Aloba signed a new "long-term" contract with Aston Villa.[8]

Born in England, Jimoh-Aloba is of Nigerian descent.[2] He has represented England at various youth levels.[9]
