The Kho Kho World Cup is an proposed international kho kho tournament for national teams around the world, sanctioned by the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) and International Kho Kho Federation (IKKF).[1][2]
The two federations announced on 2 October 2024 that the first-ever Kho Kho World Cup will take place in India between 14–19 January 2025.[3] The event will witness the participation of 24 countries from six continents, featuring 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams.[4][5] It will be played under the seven-a-side "fast format", which is used for Ultimate Kho Kho.[3]
