Kurtuluş is a village in the Ardeşen District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 103 (2021).[2]

History

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Zurxa, which means "hill". Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]

The village is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) away from Ardeşen.
