In January 2018, he revealed "Noir et Blanc", receiving more than 3 million views on YouTube in less than 3 weeks.

In 2019, Lbenj performed at the Mawazine Festival[4][5] and was nominated for Best African Act in the Diaspora All Africa Music Award.[6] Don Bigg released the song 170 KG disparaging Lbenj and other young Moroccan hip hop artists.[7]
