Lihimalyao is an administrative ward in Kilwa District of Lindi Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 360.4 km2 (139.2 sq mi),[1] and has an average elevation of 39 m (128 ft).[2] According to the 2022 census, the ward has a total population of 13,767.[3] The ward seat is Lihimalyao village.[4] Lihilmalyao ward is also the mouth of Lindi's largest and longest river, the Mbwemkuru River.
