This is a list of flag bearers who have competed as individual Olympic athletes at the Olympics.[1]

Flag bearers carry the Olympic Flag at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.

2016 Summer Volunteer from the organizing committee ? Independent Olympian team (IOA) ; IOC allowed competitors separate from their nationalities. The Kuwaiti NOC was barred from 2016, leaving their Olympians to compete independently, along with other independents. The Kuwait Kuwaiti flag bearer Fehaid al-Deehani did not carry the Olympic Flag.[8][9][10]
