Omar Berrada (Arabic: عمر برادة; born 18 April 1978) is a French businessman who is the chief executive officer of English Premier League side Manchester United.

Early life

Berrada was born in Paris. He is of Moroccan descent through his parents. He grew up in the United States. He attended EU Business School in Spain. He studied business administration.[1]

Career

Before he worked in the football industry, Berrada worked in the industry of telecommunications. In 2004, he was appointed as a marketing manager of Spanish La Liga side Barcelona. In 2011, he started to work for English Premier League side Manchester City, where he worked in various roles. In 2024, he was appointed a chief executive officer of English Premier League side Manchester United. He was called "United's first outside hire for the CEO role".[2]
