Preglovo (Macedonian: Преглово) is a village in the municipality of Plasnica, North Macedonia.

Demographics

The village is attested in the 1467/68 Ottoman tax registry (defter) for the Nahiyah of Kırçova. The village had a total of 30 houses, excluding bachelors (mucerred).[1]

Preglovo has traditionally been inhabited by a Torbeš population.[2][3]

As of the 2021 census, Preglovo had 928 residents with the following ethnic composition:[4]

  • Turks 916
  • Persons for whom data are taken from administrative sources 6
  • Albanians 6

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 1,079 inhabitants.[5] Ethnic groups in the village include:[5]
