Ricardo Hallman is an American football cornerback for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Early life and high school

Hallman was born in Miami, Florida where he attended high school at University School. In Hallman's senior season he notched 17 tackles and eight interceptions.[1] Coming out of high school, Hallman held offers from Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, and from Wisconsin.[2] Hallman ultimately decided to commit to play college football for the Wisconsin Badgers.[3][4]

College career

In Hallman's first career season in 2021 he recorded one tackle and a pass deflection.[5] In week three of the 2022 season, Hallman recorded his first career interception bringing it down with one hand.[6] Hallman finished the 2022 season with nine tackles with half a tackle being for a loss, three pass deflections, and an interception.[7] In week six of the 2023 season, Hallman intercepeted a pass and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown, as he helped the Badgers increase their lead versus Rutgers.[8] On October 19, 2023, Hallman was named a midseason All American by CBS.[9] Two weeks later in week nine against Ohio State, Hallman notched a pass deflection and an interception.[10]
