Salehabad (Persian: صالح آباد)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Salehabad District of Mehran County, Ilam province, Iran.[4]

The city is populated by Kurds.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,934 in 399 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,707 people in 407 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,751 people in 447 households.[2]
