Salpichlaena volubilis is a species of fern belonging to the family Blechnaceae.[1][2][3] It is native to the Magdalena River Basin of Colombia. It is most noteworthy for its once pinnate fronds which can exceed forty feet (twelve meters) in length, but less than a foot (30 cm) in width. and it climbs by twining.[4]
