The Veer Hakikat Rai Interstate Bus Terminus (Veer Hakikat Rai ISBT), previously referred to as the Sarai Kale Khan Inter-State Bus Terminus, is one of the three Inter State Bus Terminals operating in Delhi. It operates short and long-gaul bus services between Delhi and the neighbouring states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

History

[edit]

The terminus was built to decongest the overcrowded Maharana Pratap Interstate Bus Terminus, which could not bear the increasing traffic. The construction of a new ₹80-crore terminus complex began in March of 1996,[1] and it was opened to the public in January 2005. Later, it was further redeveloped to handle the increased volume of passengers.
