Sector 36 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Aditya Nimbalkar written by Bodhayan Roychaudhury.[1] Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, it stars Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal and Akash Khurana.[2][3] It is loosely based on 2006 Noida serial murders also known as Nithari Killings.

The film was announced in June 2023.[5] The principal photography of the film commenced in June 2022.[6]

Release

The film had its world premiere at the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne[7] on 22 August 2024.[8] It is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 13 September 2024.[9]
