Silk 2

Silk 2 is a 1989 Philippine-American film. A sequel to 1985's Silk, it was directed by Cirio H. Santiago for New Horizons and was distributed by Concorde Pictures.

The film was shot in Los Angeles and the Philippines, but set in Hawaii.[1] Star Monique Gabrielle had appeared in several films for New Horizon. She said, "I like the weapons. Holding a weapon gives me power. It makes me feel like a real woman should.”[2]

Reception

Critic Vern of outlawvern.com wrote, "Although I much prefer the look and style of SILK, I’m happy to say that SILK 2 is overall more entertaining. And although its theme song does not match the original, it's way better than most."[3]
