Some explanation of what the 0 in (a,b,0) represents could be helpful. My understanding is that with an (a,b,0) class of distributions, applies when k>0, and the more general (a,b,1) class applies the same recurrence when k>1, so permitting zero-inflation or (possibly partial) truncation of zero, with nobody interested in an (a,b,2) or higher class. If so, this could be mentioned briefly in the article.
