Negative Mormons!
[edit]The article sez:
About 2000 Mormon settlers had arrived in Arizona Territory during 1884, raising their totals to 500 settlers.
DOes this mean that at the end of 1883 there were -1,500 Mormons in Arizona? Something is wrong with these numbers... --Jfruh (talk) 00:12, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- The numbers have been corrected. There were roughly 5000 Mormons at the time. --Allen3 talk 00:17, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
The article also says that the Idaho legislature was dominated by Mormons. NOT TRUE! It was pretty much the opposite. From the Idaho.gov history web site: " In 1884, the territorial legislature passed the Idaho Test Oath, which essentially disenfranchised members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints..." So there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.18.11.253 (talk) 20:00, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Distance m or km?
[edit]"The detours taken to avoid flooding on the Salt River resulted in the members from Pima County requesting US$330 each for the 2,200 metres (2.2 km) journey to and from Prescott." Previously this detour was described as going through Sacramento and Los Angeles ... certainly more like 2,200km than 2.2km. What is the correct answer here? - Fixed. --Allen3 talk 03:05, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
