@Brigade Piron: you fundamentally misunderstand the nature of disambiguation, which is the purpose of the date in your preferred title. The reason it is unnecessary is not because there were no other Copperbelt strikes historically, but because we have no other article of the same name from which this particular strike needs disambiguating.
