The Queensland floods affected places as far as Coober Pedy and Northern NSW. only 14 fatalities occured, thanks to the quick response from flood mitigation services.Cyclone Wanda triggered an air mass over Brisbane into intense rainfall. By R.Cario


the numbers of houses damaged is listed in the article twice - both with different values. Regarding the number of homes that experienced flooding, I found this EMA page which says 13,00 homes. I have another source that says 14,000. McBride, Frank; et al. (2009). Brisbane 150 Stories.
