What was the delegate count at the start of the national convention? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.61.13.93 (talk) 20:32, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article Badly Needs Reorganizing!

[edit]

This article, IMO, is terribly organized. It gives an account of the primary battle between Ford and Reagan, and then "backtracks" to an absurdly long section that deals almost completely with Maryland Senator Charles Mathias, who wasn't even a candidate (his section is nearly twice as long as the section on the actual battle in the primaries between Ford and Reagan). The section on Mathias also simply repeats a good deal of information that is already contained in the first section in the article. The section on Mathias should be either removed or edited down to reasonable length and added into the first section of the article discussing the primaries. Just a thought. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.145.229.162 (talk) 08:45, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
