Error

[edit]

So, IAmNitpicking, what is the error you are referring to? -- Deeday-UK (talk) 09:59, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea. I don't remember, and my entire edit seems to have been scrubbed from the history of this talk page. IAmNitpicking (talk) 12:35, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your edit was not on this talk page; it was in the article, i.e. this edit, and your edit summary was "ce introduces error", hence my question: what error are you referring to? ---Deeday-UK (talk) 13:24, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ohhhh ... sorry, I was sleep-deprived when I wrote that reply. I should have written (in the original edit), "usage error". The hyphen in "two-week" is incorrect, in that a hyphen is used when an adjective is modified by an adverb. "Two" does not modify "week" (and is not an adverb). The edit in general also makes the language different, but not better. If anything, it renders it more formal. IAmNitpicking (talk) 20:37, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
