- "The strongest storm was Cyclone Hary, which became the first very intense tropical cyclone since 2000" - Is it really all that important to mention that Hary was the first very intense tropical cyclone since 2000? That would be like saying that Hurricane Dean of 2007 was the first Category 5 hurricane since Hurricane Wilma in 2005.
- Considering how unusual they are, yes, I think it is worth mentioning. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:55, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- "strengthening into Tropical Cyclone Bessi on November 27. On November 29, it moved into" - That "on November 27. On November 29" part seems rather redundant.
- "Severe Tropical Storm with the Meteorological Services of Madagascar giving it the name Cyprien late on January 1.[1][8] Cyprien soon became a serious threat to western Madagascar.[1] Convection began to dissipate while wind shear increased and that led to the storm weakening quickly from a Severe Tropical Storm to a Tropical Depression." - Is "Severe Tropical Storm" and "Tropical Depression" supposed to be capitalized? In the other basins, we have such classifications lowercased unless the name of said tropical cyclone is used immediately after.
- "As it made landfall on western Madagascar, it damaged over 150 homes. It also dropped heavy rainfall, and there were no deaths." - Why not mention that there were 2 missing and $181,000 (2002 USD). Also, according to Cyprien's main article, there were 661 homes destroyed in Morondava.
- Meteo France said there were no deaths. I didn't feel it was necessary to mention the 2 missing people. I did add the destroyed homes though. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:55, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- "It turned to the southewest the next day" - Typo; "southewest" --> "southwest"
- On References #17 and #28, the accessdates have double dashes. Look at this: "Retrieved 2012-11--14." and "Retrieved 2012-11--14."
- For References #11, #16, #21, #22, #27, #31, and #32, shouldn't "Monthly Global Tropical Cyclone Summary" be the title? After all, the Australian Severe Weather is the publisher and Gary Padgett is the author.
- But it's a series of work, so the title is the month of the summary. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:55, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
You know the drill. I will come back in 7 days unless you contact me otherwise. Regards,--12george1 (talk) 00:02, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, I am now satisfied with the condition of this article and feel that everything was adequately addressed. Therefore, I am going to pass this article and list it as a GA. Regards,--12george1 (talk) 03:00, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
