¿Lapiang Malaya?

[edit]

I've opened a referenced article on who were the candidates for the special elections, and read a part on Piñan mayor Cecilia Jalosjos Carreon's political affiliation which is the "Partido Demokratiko Reporma-Lapiang Malaya." As I was making a Wikipedia link to Lapiang Malaya, I found that it was a political party that existed in the 1940s to the 1960s. I checked on Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma, and might be wondering if LM might be Lapiang Malaya or Lapiang Manggagawa. Even that Philippine Star 2002 article says Lapiang Malaya. My apologies for this long discussion, but I hope this will shed light to you. Thank you, and Godspeed!

This was almost certainly a mix-up. The Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma had, for the longest time, ran together with the Lapiang Manggagawa. We'd have to abide with what the actual reference says tho. Howard the Duck (talk) 00:27, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
