Proposal for replacement

[edit]

I've been creating some of the rankings pages for some years, which I will call Style 1, e.g.:

We also have some in the format of this year's page, which I will call Style 2:

The second format conveys more information, but obviously, only if filled out.

I cannot justify the time it would take to fill out this page with the missing information, but I can create one in the format of Style 1. I don't believe anyone has added table data since 2008, so I strongly doubt it will be filled in anytime soon.

Would anyone object to replacing this page with on in the format of Style 1?--S Philbrick(Talk) 18:08, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free. I started this article because men's and women's rankings were originally combined on one HUGE list. Hoof Hearted (talk) 21:36, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Week 19 AP

[edit]

The careful observer will note that the "trending" column in the ESPN link (for the AP poll) doesn't exactly match the trending movements on this page. While I'm not fully sure what happened my guess is that there was an interim adjustment. As an example Rutgers is clearly number seven in week 19 But the trending column says that hasn't changed even though they were clearly in fourth place in week 18. Given that the goal is to identify what has changed since week 18 I adopted the sensible convention that I would indicate a movement up or down relative to the results in week 18 without regard to what the trending column says.--S Philbrick(Talk) 20:37, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
