tables

[edit]

Why move to these new tables to display match information? IMO they are ugly and they convey less information. Jared Wiltshire (talk) 07:05, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, preferred the old style much more --Windsok (talk) 14:04, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updating score during games

[edit]

Is it reasonable to ask people to wait until the end of the game before it is updated? I had a look at this page at about 11pm Friday and thought the Perth-Newcastle game was a 3-2 win to Perth. Confused the hell out of me when I was reading forum discussions about the game. -- Chuq (talk) 13:24, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Or if you really must edit during the game, use italics or some other method of distinguishing the difference between final and progressive scores. — Stony (talk) 13:37, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coyne OG / Song Goal 22nd August

[edit]

All of the Reports/Summaries and the A-league website top scorers all seem to indicate that Song was awarded the goal (Perth v Newcastle on Aug 22nd).. Not a Coyne own goal.. However it seems to keep getting reverted back.. What do you guys think it should be?

Actually just noticed that the summary link says Coyne OG
The report indicates a Song Goal

Here is the Information from the A-League top scorers (http://www.a-league.com.au/default.aspx?s=hal_playerstats&showdetailstatisticstype=1&seasonid=135)

...
9. Eugene Dadi Perth Glory FC Striker 1
10. Jade North Newcastle Jets FC Central Defender 1
11. Jin-Hyung Song Newcastle Jets FC Attacking Midfielder 1
12. Kevin Muscat Melbourne Victory FC Central Defender 1
13. Matt Simon Central Coast Mariners FC Striker 1
...

It appears they have cleared this issue up, that link now has Song removed from the list, so i believe it to be an OG. — Stony (talk) 15:11, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Final

[edit]

In the Grand Final the venue is at Telstra Dome.

The AFL have the stadium booked so shouldnt the venue be changed to TBD/TBA.121.220.152.95 (talk) 01:28, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It appears as though the A-League has won the battle [1]. Stony ¿ 03:36, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
