L'Acadien II

[edit]

The incident here is mixed in with this general event. This should be better organised. --Kvasir (talk) 17:16, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you make a new article on the L'Acadien II incident, you can use the main article template (Main article: L'Acadien II) to link to the separate article. Bib (talk) 21:00, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't think it would have enough significance for its own article at first but now that there is an inquiry launched I think the article will grow quite sizeably. Will add a link to it from this article once I've cleaned it up well enough. --Kvasir (talk) 02:36, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Language Tense

[edit]

The language in this article refers to this event in the present or future tense, using words like "have been given". Since this event occurred in 2008, the article should be updated to "were given", etc. -- Dave Slinn 11:21PM January 6 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.72.21.130 (talk) 05:20, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable?

[edit]

Was the 2008 seal hunt particularly notable in some way, or did there just happen to be a Wikipedian who was paying close attention that year? Q·L·1968 20:20, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
