Title of article

[edit]

This article seems to be 95% about airline disruption, and not about the volcano. Shouldn't it be called Air travel disruption during the 2011 Grímsvötn eruption, similar to Air travel disruption after the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption.--Lidos (talk) 15:39, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't mind the length of the coverage of the air travel disruption and it doesn't necessarily need a special article yet. We do need to vastly expand the coverage of the eruption itself and its significant local impact on farms and villages. The impact on peoples homes and livelihood should of course come before travel annoyances . --Bjarki (talk) 16:07, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
To refer to your point Bjarki, I too was looking for local impact, but I've struggled to find much, most possibly because the news on local events might be in Icelandic. But as travel has paramount attention after what happened last year, that information is easier to track down and source. And I do agree with Lidos on the page title; I actually intended on creating the article with that title, but sadly was beaten to it by the original creator of this article. Renaming will be considered at a later time once more information has been collected. But also considering how short lived the current incident was (it seems the ash clouds are dissipating), more news on the incident might be harder to track.
