Being a football fan, I am going to take a look at this:

Review and events

  • I would perfer that you merge some of these sub-sections together. The new sub-sections should be August–October, November–February and March–May.
  • "Feyenoord ended the pre-season preparation with a 3–1 home win over Getafe in its last friendly match ." I would remove "in its last friendly match" as you already stated that it ended the pre-season preparation with this match. Also what's with the space inbetween the full stop?
  • "The second leg of the Europa League play-off round was played 29 August at home in De Kuip, they lost 1–2 and were eliminated from the tournament." Rewrite to: "The second leg of the Europa League play-off round was played 29 August at home in De Kuip, where they lost 1–2 and were eliminated from the tournament."
  • "The club announced halfway through the month they had signed Otman Bakkal without transfer free." Without transfer free? Do you mean a transfer fee?
  • "Bakkal had played for Feyenoord in the 2011–12 season as well." Link the 2011-12 season. Also state the following: "Bakkal had played for Feyenoord in the 2011–12 season as well before joining Russian club Dynamo Moscow for the 2012–13 season."
  • "The team played Heracles Almelo at home the 27th" On the 27th you mean.
  • "due to a Vandepitte own goal" Link Vandepitte you haven't already.
  • "and further scores by Bakkal and Te Vrede." Change scores to goals.
  • "the final score was reached after AZ successfully converted a penalty." I would perfer you state that Jóhannsson converted the penalty rather than AZ.
  • "The visitors took an early lead, Boëtius equalized the game in the first half stoppage time." Rewrite to: "The visitors took an early lead but Boëtius scored an equalizer in the first half stoppage time"
  • "The game ended as 2–1 win after Heerenveen got on the board at the stroke of half-time." As a 2-1 win you mean.
  • "Clasie scored the sixth Feyenoord penalty before Heracles' Rienstra missed" Link Rienstra.
  • "On 22 January, Feyenoord got knocked out of the KNVB Cup in the quarter-finals by Ajax." What was the score?
  • "On 2 March Feyenoord played Ajax at home, they lost the match 1–2 after taking a first-half lead." Rewrite to: "On 2 March Feyenoord played Ajax at home, where they lost 1-2 despite taking a first-half lead."
  • "They went on to win their third match in a row on 30 March at home against Go Ahead Eagles." State that they won 5-0 in this sentence.

Club

  • "This is Ronald Koeman's third season as manager of Feyenoord." Rewrite to: "This was Ronald Koeman's third and final season as manager of Feyenoord."
  • "March 2013 it was announced that Feyenoord signed a four-year deal" On March 2013 you mean.
  • "The home jersey was similar to the previous season version with updated sponsor name." With an updated sponsor name.

References

  • Refs 24 and 73 are broken.

Going to place on hold for now seeing as there are lots of issues that need to be addressed. good888 (talk) 11:35, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your in-depth review. Due to the holidays I don't have time in the next couple of days to fix these issues, would you consider extending the hold period a bit? Thanks! CRwikiCA talk 20:07, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine by me. good888 (talk) 15:50, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Good888: I addressed the points you brought up. Reference 73 seems to work for me now though, so I did not change it. Let me know if you would have any additional concerns. Thanks! CRwikiCA talk 19:40, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Works now. Odd it didn't at first. Anyway, promoting to GA class. Well done. good888 (talk) 20:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
