Merger proposal
[edit]I propose merging 2018 Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala and 2021 Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala into Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala. 2021 outbreak killed one person, while outbreak in 2018 killed 17 people and 2019's result is unknown. It seems Nipah virus in Kerala has killed small number of people and therefore, both article be merged into Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala with subsections of 2018, 2019 and 2021. - Support seems reasonable — DaxServer (talk) 19:58, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- Given that there is more than one outbreak, and the articles given clear end dates, perhaps a better target would be Nipah virus outbreaks in Kerala (which fits the exceptions to the preference for singular titles; see WP:PLURAL). Klbrain (talk) 08:55, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 11:07, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
