Round numbers
[edit]As I write this https://livescores.worldsnookerdata.com/Matches/Index/14551/cazoo-british-open-2022 calls the last-128 "Round 1", the last-64 "Round 2", to "Round 4" for the last-16. We use a completely different system: Qualifying then rounds 1, 2 and 3. Probably better to use the WST system, although I accept they're not always 100% consistent themselves in their usage. Nigej (talk) 10:53, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- It's not even consistent over at snooker.org, which follows what we've done. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:36, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- It is all over the place. News articles on the WST's own site refer to the matches played in Wigan as the "qualifying round" but the held-over matches played in Milton Keynes as the "first round," even though all of these matches were in the same round (of 128). A possible solution would be to refer to the "Round of 128," "Round of 64," "Round of 32" and "Round of 16" — at least that is clear. HurricaneHiggins (talk) 09:34, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

QPQ: - Not done
Overall: 5x expansion took place within preceding 7 days of nomination. Hook is concise, makes me ask "why", and certainly makes me want to click and read more. Good job. Just waiting on QPQ – looks like @HurricaneHiggins: is exempt (4 DYK noms) but @Lee Vilenski: isn't. MIDI (talk) 13:17, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- I've done the QPQ now. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:50, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
