Navy enters the final day of the regular season at 7–10, and Army is 6–11. If Navy loses to American and Army beats Loyola Maryland, both teams are 7–11. If Holy Cross loses at Boston University, Army and Navy will be the only two teams with 7–11 records, and that will make Boston University 10–8. If Lafayette loses at Bucknell, Lafayette and Bucknell will also be 10–8.

Army and Navy split their season series, so we need to go down the standings. Both teams were swept by first-place Colgate and second-place American (assuming Navy's loss to American). To simplify things, we can assume Lehigh loses to Colgate, and Lafayette, Boston University and Bucknell all finish tied for third place at 10–8. Army and Navy are both 2–4 against those three teams. Army and Navy have identical records against the remaining teams in the conference (Lehigh, Holy Cross and Loyola Maryland, assuming an Army victory over Loyola). Therefore, the tie would be broken by comparing the NET rankings of Army and Navy, which cannot be known until the season is concluded. Taxman1913 (talk) 21:36, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
