Notability
[edit]As Vai is a minor language the impact of the Grammar is relatively minor too, but according to Google Scholar it's been cited (at least) 62 times in different linguistic books and research papers between its publication and 2015. So it's notable as it's both the first scientifically written grammar analysis of the language (the one from 1854 is pretty flawed) and is still quoted in studies of tonal and/or sub-saharan languages. - I restored the article because WP:NBOOKS states that books with two or more independent articles about them are notable. Only one NBOOKS criterion is needed for notability, but it is possible more criteria may apply. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:21, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
