removal of valid and useful wikilinks
[edit]In this edit a valid, useful and referenced wikilinks was removed, without any explanation other than "clarify".
According to the Canadian Press, "In response to the lawsuit, the government released roughly 2,000 pages of documents Friday evening." Those 2,000 pages are likely to contain further details about the 645 Bagram captives -- so it is worthwhile to have a wikilink to Abdur Rahim (Bagram captive), and other Bagram captives -- even if they are currently redlinks.
- "US releases long-secret list of 645 detainees held at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan". Canadian Press. 2010-01-16. Archived from the original on 2010-01-17.
The United States has released a long-secret list of 645 detainees held at a military base in Afghanistan... In response to the lawsuit, the government released roughly 2,000 pages of documents Friday evening.
I've restored the link to Abdur Rahim (Bagram captive). Geo Swan (talk) 16:41, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- Question: Do you think Abdur Rahim (Bagram captive) is the same individual as Abdul Rahim (Guantanamo captive 897)? IQinn (talk) 02:39, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Captive --> Detainee
[edit]For the sake of consistency and following these three discussions [1] [2] [3] i have moved the page from Abdul Rahim (Guantanamo captive 897) to Abdul Rahim (Guantanamo detainee 897). IQinn (talk) 09:28, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
