Gerald Moore?

[edit]

I think the reference to Gerald Moore is unnecessary here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karljoos (talkcontribs) 06:53, 27 December 2008

Why? he's a very well-known accompanist who gives speeches and seminars on the subject. It makes perfect sense to leave him in. Why not add others if you want? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.147.33.94 (talk) 00:06, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Keyboards

[edit]

Some bad keyboards have an accompaniment, which means that means when you press a chord, the keyboard plays a stock melodybased on that chord. The "accompaniments" always sound so midi, I wanna barf. That's why I prefer synths like MicroKorg. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.8.228.146 (talk) 07:02, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Left hand and right hand

[edit]

This article reads like the accompaniment must be a different instrument. As much as I understand, it can also be played by the same instrument, for instance the left hand in a two-hand piano piece. Is that correct? --Abdull (talk) 13:29, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial link?

[edit]

The link on "rythms and patterns" seems to point to an advertisement site which does not bring value by itself. Should it be removed (or at least moved into the "references" section)?
