[edit]

I saw that this page had been deleted due to copyright concerns. I didn't create the original so have proceeded to just create a new page. I have written the copy myself and referenced my sources. Lady Meyer, whose page I have also created has reviewed the text and is happy with it. I will try and add content to it going forward as well. As I have said before I have tried to format it correctly but let me know if there need to be changes and if there are any details I'm missing. Thanks. Input is wanted at Talk:Catherine Meyer

[edit]

There is a discussion about the dispute regarding inclusion of material covering a controversy about this organisation at Talk:Catherine Meyer. Please discuss it there. Yoenit (talk) 13:29, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

COI

[edit]

This page was created by an SPA with a COI, see above, and I would urge others to review it and cull out cruft and unsupported self-flattery, which I've done in part. --Epeefleche (talk) 17:22, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried to cut out everything that's unsupported by facts. Should be a bit leaner, more attributed, and better now. Of course, more citations would always be welcome, especially from reliable independent newspapers of record. wia (talk) 01:01, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nicely done. Kudos. --Epeefleche (talk) 02:00, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit reversion

[edit]

I've gone ahead and reverted numerous changes to the article, as they were from a potentially COI editor who had introduced numerous factual errors:

  • The article claimed that PACT grew out of the ICMEI, but the link provided did not indicate that at all. The list of ICMEI's launchers' names also seems inappropriate on a page about a different organization.
  • Catherine Meyer already has an article, so additions about her being awarded the title of CBE don't belong here. Further, the article doesn't say she was awarded that title for her work at PACT.
  • The claim that PACT has participated in multiple congressional and senate hearings is not made out by the references. If you search those documents, the acronym "PACT" or the words "Parents and Abducted Children Together" do not appear anywhere.
  • Some of the sources cited do not substantiate the claims they should. For example, in one addition, a link to the reference for the statement "It is part of a global network of 22 national websites that include age-progression technology" did not mention age-progression technology at all.
  • The edits also removed some content that had been referenced according to WP:RS and WP:IS, so I've put it back.

If anyone has any questions about my reversions, please feel free to ask either here, as I watch the page, or on my talk page. Thank you! wia (talk) 12:12, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome. Nicely and thoughtfully done. I am troubled by the apparent COI edits. Epeefleche (talk) 00:44, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your edit to the page too! Yeah, I'm not sure why this page keeps getting hammered by possible COI editors. I'll keep it on my watchlist. wia (talk) 00:51, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Parents and Abducted Children Together. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
