The article doesn't really say what active stretching is. In fact, currently, all of the stretching articles are quite bad. It is clear that there is a controversy over which types of stretch are safe or beneficial, but it is not clear what types of stretch the names actually refer to. PNF, active, passive, ballistic, dynamic, static, resistance, isometric... Perhaps somebody knows? 124.171.103.192 (talk) 06:43, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, at NO point does this article even attempt to explain or define what active stretching is!
