[edit]Hi everyone, this page is a work in progres. I will be working on the sources. Its actually a little challanging because most are fro USSR archives but will do my best, just need some time.
Also, the spelling of the name, since its a transliteration may be a source of confusion. I am not sure what to do with that. It may also appear as Dr. AvaKYan or Dr. Avakian, or Dr.Avagian. Also while her birth certificate says Adelaida, her papers may have listed her as Aida, the name thatshe was known by.
Any and all help would be wonderful.
A place that one van get started in looking her up is the BIOGRAPHICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA "WHO'S WHO. ARMENIANS".
