A few points

[edit]

@Dunutubble: Thanks for this article! I was planning on creating it myself, I just couldn't get around to it in time. A couple of points:

  • Perhaps it would be better to name the article after the village(s) rather than the entire commune. How about "[name of village(s)] massacre"?
  • This article mentions a land dispute between Ballin and Mavass. In the timeline which I try to keep updated, the sources mention a land dispute between Mesaka and Oliti, and that the separatist militant were allegedly hired by villagers in Oliti. However, this article seems to imply that both parties to the land dispute were victims of mass killings, and that Mavass villagers hired the separatists. This is extremely confusing, so any input would be appreciated. Mikrobølgeovn (talk) 12:39, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
1. Per WP:COMMONNAME, I initially named it "Ballin massacre" but renamed it after I googled both names in quotes and discovered that the name "Akwaya massacre" was far more popular than Ballin massacre.
2. The Oliti are an ethnic group.[1] Dunutubble (talk) (Contributions) 13:35, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
