In my view: for now, it is sufficient to meet WP:SPORTCRIT, which states that it indicates that there are likely sufficient sources to merit a stand-alone article – given that we're already halfway towards GNG and meet SPORTCRIT (which means that it is 'likely' there are more to meet GNG), I think that for now it should be sufficient considering how poor our access to media in Niger is.
