Alfonso Rodríguez Salas → Foncho – WP:COMMONNAME is just "Foncho" as per every single external link and references. Foncho is not a common nickname for Alfonso, and there is not a single other page on the English Wikipedia with "Foncho" in the title. Ortizesp (talk) 14:47, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

- Comment pinging @In ictu oculi: to see if you can provide some of the books not using this nickname you mentioned at the last RM... GiantSnowman 12:59, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose - if there were a primary (there isn't) it would be the Fairtade banana campaign man see https://www.ethicalsuperstore.com/blog/fair-trade/meet-foncho-a-man-on-a-fairtrade-mission-to-make-bananas-fair/, or simply Google "Foncho", it's a short form of Alfonso.
"On September 15 the grass - roots Christian communities of San Salvador issued a statement mourning the death of catechist Jose Alfonso Acevedo" In ictu oculi (talk) 21:37, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- No opinion on moving the stub to Foncho (footballer), but Foncho should be a dab page with Alfonso and Stick with Foncho to make bananas fair + the footballer stub. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:55, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support Foncho (footballer) as an alternative, but not sure if disambig is actually required since José Alfonso Acevedo doesn't have a page on the English WP.--Ortizesp (talk) 13:14, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Ortizesp: The issue is WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. To claim primary topic for any article it has to be primary topic. It has nothing to do with what topics have stubs. 16:48, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Alfonso Rodríguez Salas → Foncho (footballer) – As per previous RM, WP:COMMONNAME is just "Foncho" as per every single external link and references. Disambiguate to standard for footballers, this alternative was brought up on last RM and makes most sense with new disambiguation page at Foncho. Ortizesp (talk) 13:05, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose - there was no consensus to move the page in the last RM which was closed only 5 days ago. This is now the third RM in 2 months by the same editor to try and move the page to the same location. @Ortizesp: is politely reminded that he remains under page moving restrictions, and this course of conduct is concerning. GiantSnowman 11:38, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- Correction, this is the second time this page move has been suggested by me, the first nom was by someone else. And I corrected the page title adding the disambiguator (footballer), which was brough up by User:In ictu oculi after the diaambig page was made. I don't think any argument that his WP:COMMONNAME isn't "Foncho".@GiantSnowman:--Ortizesp (talk) 12:22, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
