Rape?

[edit]

The allegations of rape are severe, unfounded and defamatory, verging on libel. The source quoted is unreliable, has no authority and no such allegations exist in any other website.

The allegations of rape should thus be removed from this page of Ali Kordan.

There exist many politically active groups who would want to paint Ali Kordan as a rapist and discredit both him and the rest of the government (for releasing him from prison after the revolution).

The source is reliable. If you disagree, you can request for more citations but the deletion is not justified. Sinooher (talk) 13:44, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that both moral charges (the rape case) and the financial corruptions lack solid evidence, and so should be removed if no better source is found for them. --Ebright82 (talk) 19:45, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His original name

[edit]

I think there should be a source to indicate his name is really Avazali. Avazali means "wrong Ali" literally in Persian, and sure it's a very stupid name, so stupid that it's very unlikely to be his real name.

Actually I'm almost sure it was a joke people came up with it.

Please consider posting a reliable source or removing it. Ali Nazifpour (talk) 15:43, 15 November 2008 (UTC) Ali Nazifpour Ali Nazifpour (talk) 15:43, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Avaz does not nessessarily mean 'wrong'. It also means 'pay' or 'exchange'. Avazali is an obsolete name in present-day Iran, but at time Mr. Kordan was born, it was in active use. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.28.34.43 (talk) 12:02, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Intitle"-"entitle" dispute

[edit]

I'm going to move this to footnotes as it's irrelevent to the issue of whether the degree was fake to which there is now no dispute. --BoogaLouie (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

Have attempted to cleanup the article getting rid of repetition, dead links, wrong dates, etc. --BoogaLouie (talk) 18:39, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
