Absolutes

[edit]

Here's one person:

http://www.tkinstruments.com/5ths_tuned_guitar_and_bass.htm

that would disagree with the absolutes in this article. Likewise so would folks like Gary Goodman, who make electric guitar strings that can be tuned to that High-B.

Also, the "fact" that "Transposing lower (below the suggested C) moves below the resonant frequencies of the acoustic guitar body". is really irrelevant. True or not, it has no bearing on electric guitars.

I second that sentiment. It's easy to put different gauges of strings on a guitar and get an all fifths tuning... I hesitate to just delete the misinformation from the already short page though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.129.70.167 (talk) 22:54, 17 November 2007‎

Tenor Banjo, Cello

[edit]

One could mention that those Instruments (thus only havin 4 Strings...) have All fifths tunings as a standard. --Dan-yell (talk) 15:09, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please add them. Check that the article mentions violins, please. Please provide a reference, since the article has a respectable referencing density. :) Kiefer.Wolfowitz 16:00, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
