Records vs other Big 12 teams

[edit]

This section seems subtrivial and not directly relevant to an article on Allen Fieldhouse, not to mention that it would require someone to update it after every KU home game. We don't mention in Bramlage Coliseum that KU's never lost there, nor should we - it's not relevant to the building. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:01, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm not removing it again because the 3RR could be construed to apply after the rash of vandalism to this page today, but I am still of the opinion that it doesn't really belong here. Anyone care to explain why this is useful information for an article about the building? (ESkog)(Talk) 03:35, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced?

[edit]

I am confused by the anonymous user who often swings through and tags this article with a referencing template. Unless you explain your tag, I will continue to remove it, as there are sources clearly stated at the bottom of the article. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:35, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Tags for Multiple Issues

[edit]

After copy-editing this article, I removed the tags, dated March 2012, for multiple issues including fansite, copy editing, worldwide view, and original research. I simply moved most of the "fansite" type material that related to the Jayhawks basketball team to the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball article. I suspect a lot of that material may not actually be suitable for any Wikipedia article, but by moving it directly into the Jayhawks article, where I think it is also more relevant, it may help to immunize that content from charge of "fansite", and also helps significantly to clean up this article. In general, I have tried to move information that was specifically about Jayhawks games or scores to the Jayhawks article.

I also moved the section about Jayhawks home-game "Traditions" to the Jayhawks article, because I believe it is more relevant in that article than in this one. I think this also incidentally removed most of the material from this article that may be original research, but hopefully that material can get any attention may need in the other article.

I didn't notice any issues with worldwide view, or spelling, but maybe those issues were already fixed by other edits since those tags were added, so I removed those tags as well. If I missed something, please feel free to restore the tags, and I'll take another look at it. Burnishe (talk) 17:39, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
