I don't think Clenbuterol is an A-2 Agonist, and it certainly isn't a selective agonist.

You're right, it's definitely a selective Beta-2 agonist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.17.164.75 (talk) 16:39, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Previous order better than present one

[edit]

I think the agonists and antagonists sections were better when they were more specific about the nature of the entries ([1]) than they are now ([2]). Now you have to click on each of them to be able to tell them apart. I suggest reintroduction of that older system. Mikael Häggström (talk) 14:03, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I think an even better idea would be to have it both as a list and as prose. Mikael Häggström (talk) 08:41, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictory info

[edit]

In the first paragraph under the "Effects" heading, the article states that epinephrine binds with a slightly higher affinity than norepinephrine.

In the first paragraph under the "Agonists" heading, the reverse is stated.

Just noticed this morning while studying for a neuro exam, and wanted to point out the error. I remember them having very similar affinities, but I forget which is higher.

Yes, I think I spotted that too. Need to obviously have a peer review paper to clarify. It may even be different with different receptor isoforms. Remembering is not really the key thing! RBJ (talk) 20:28, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
