Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Amèle El Mahdi is a well-known and influential Algerian writer. She has an article on her in the French Wikipedia here and has written quite a number of novels on important topics, including illegal migration to Europe. She is included in the list of women whose biographies need to be created within WiR.

Ipigott Can you please help me contest this deletion? Thank you --RubyALG (talk) 13:21, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Literary works

[edit]

The titles seem to have been translated into English from the French. I think the original French titles should be given, possibly with an English translation (unless of course some of them have been published in English).--Ipigott (talk) 07:29, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
