Images

[edit]

The images of the cast members are great, but there are too many in one section (which disturbs the section below). Could the images be reduced in size, or could one possibly be moved to the "Casting" section below? --Another Believer (Talk) 00:02, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Plot length

[edit]

I added a "too detailed" tag to the section. It appears to have been expanded by an IP whose only contributions are for the series. I know they were more characters this season than ever, but this is supposed to be an encyclopedia where the average page visit should be about 30 minutes. Please help trim the fat. — Wyliepedia 07:27, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted back to the version before the IP's edits. The IP's edits were all good but too many excessive details. Gloss • talk 12:25, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Good article?

[edit]

This article looks pretty solid, close to GA status? Any editors interested in running through the GA gauntlet? ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:25, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cast and Character Issues with Jamie Brewer, Gabourey Sidibe, and Angela Bassett

[edit]

Hello Dear Editors,

Both Jamie Brewer's and Gabourey Sidibe's characters, Nan and Queenie (respectively) were a part of the core student group and appeared in most episodes. Angela Bassett's character, Marie Laveau, was central to the plot, also appearing in most episodes. I would like to suggest moving all three under the Main Cast and Character heading. Perhaps a minor issue, but these actresses deserve credit for their work. Otherwise, Kathy Bates should be moved to Special guest stars and Denis O'Hare and Evan Peters should be moved to Guest Stars. In either case, Jamie Brewer/Nan should be moved up from the Guest Star list. Thank you for your time and consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.5.98.24 (talk) 15:00, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why would not Gabourey Sidibe be included as new cast?

[edit]

In the second para two other actors are listed as new but Gabourey Sidibe is not. I had put her as returning and then realized it was her first dance in AHC so undid it, but before making another change I was hoping for some weighing in why Ms Sidibe shouldn't be listed as new cast. She's in 12 episodes whereas the other two listed are actually in fewer episodes, so it can't be based on the # of episodes she appears. The only other difference is that Ms. Sidibe is listed in special guests, but there are alot of reasons for that to occur that usually have to do with actors' contracts than their having any difference. For example Rollie in the original Mission Impossible series (Mission: Impossible (1966 TV series)) was listed as a special guest but is included in wikipedia with cast.

So why shouldn't Sidibe be listed as new cast? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikethewhistle-original (talkcontribs) 09:57, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Black actors

[edit]

I am struggling to understand why Angela Bassett and Gabourey Sidibe are not being included fairly in this cast. They were in more episodes than Kathy Bates and Lily Rabe, yet are being treated like second class actors. They were in the series and were a big part of it and you are trying to erase this. They deserve more. It is already evident that they aren’t being included because of their race because i can’t think of another reason. They were significant characters and you can’t erase them from the series. Jazzy994 (talk) 11:18, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Evan Peters and Frances Conroy were also in less episodes than them and are being treated like the main cast? Jazzy994 (talk) 11:21, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
