Specifically state-supported?

[edit]

https://www.amtrak.com/midwest lists the states in the article, but https://www.amtrak.com/regions/midwest.html includes three other states—Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana. I'm not sure if this is a recent development, but it might be worth mentioning? Snowman304|talk 01:07, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The first link is the portal for state-supported Amtrak Midwest, the subject of the article. The second link is a tourism page for all Amtrak trains in the "midwest region", including long-distance. Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee do not currently fund state-supported routes so are not included in the Amtrak Midwest brand. The distinction is mentioned in the article. Having a Midwest region and a Midwest brand without them lining up is just perfect. Thanks for the clarification! Snowman304|talk 04:53, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
