Possible Plagiarism

[edit]

Some sections of this piece, notably the "Technology" section are word for word out of "Handbook to Life in Ancient Greece" by Lesley Adkins and Roy Adkins. I do not know what Wikipedia's policy on this is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.94.128.116 (talk) 21:30, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Vandalism

[edit]

It looks like the end of the introductory paragraph of this page might be vandalized, but I lack the knowledge of ancient Greeks to convert it to something more reasonable--could someone who knows what they're doing take a look at it? TehFreeze (talk) 05:25, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

This bot has detected that this page contains an image, Image:Meccanismo_di_Antikytera.jpg, in a raster format. A replacement is available as a Scalable vector graphic (SVG) at File:Antikythera_mechanism.svg. If the replacement image is suitable please edit the article to use the vector version. Scalable vector graphics should be used in preference to raster for images that can easily represented in a vector graphic format. If this bot is in error, you may leave a bug report at its talk page Thanks SVnaGBot1 (talk) 10:22, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
